Cupboard Installed

Well, as you can see, I've got the cupboard installed and I'm quite pleased with it. I like how I got the doves to peek through the slots..it's like they were made for it.
I'm experiencing some frustrations. I have the trim ready for the windows, but with the wainscoting up, there's a gap above the paneling and I have to fill it in with wood so it will be level and not show the gap.....a pain, but easily done. Plus, and this is the biggie, my plastic windows are all scuffed up and not suitable to hang. You may remember that I bought this kit at Goodwill for only $40...I'm sure paying for it, as now I have to order new window sheets from the company. I'm waiting to hear from them now for the cost.
As Rosannadanna says, "It's always something!"

ooo! the corner cabinet is sooooo gorgeous! can't wait to add mine!

my windows are scuffed too...can't blame the seller. I have had to move my kit around the house so much that the window sheet was bound to get damaged in the process :(

but I will probably stick to my scuffed windows for now. since I am making an old Indian mansion, the windows will add more character if they look a little dusty and scuffed. I plan to add details later with stained glass paint.

I'm so happy with it, too. I'm getting ready to add some of my own details...having to wait now for windows slows things down. Can't work on some trim without the windows up...I need their trim before I measure wainscoting. I can work on baseboard and crown molding though and most of that is ready and waiting for the cuts.
